Its patented hinged design allows for the complete assembly of an in-ground basketball system—including the backboard and rim—while it is lying on the ground, eliminating the need for ladders or scaffolding during setup.Key Features & BenefitsEasy Installation: The anchor's hinge allows 2–3 people to raise the completed goal assembly into a vertical position.Relocation-Ready: Because the post is bolted to the anchor rather than being buried in concrete, you can unbolt the goal and take it with you if you move; you only need to install a new anchor at your new location.Heavy-Duty Construction: Built with high-quality steel and a Magni 577 corrosion-resistant coating for long-term stability and durability in various weather conditions.Stability: Provides a rock-solid foundation that minimizes shake and vibration during intense gameplay.Installation OverviewPreparation: Contact local utility services (call 811) to locate underground lines before digging.Digging: Dig a hole approximately 18 inches in diameter and 48 inches deep.Concrete Pouring: Mix roughly 10–14 bags of concrete in a wheelbarrow (not in the hole) and pour it until it is level with the playing surface.Anchor Placement: Place the anchor into the wet cement, ensuring it is level and parallel to the court. Allow the concrete to cure for at least 48 to 72 hours.Final Assembly: Once the concrete is dry, the pole and backboard can be assembled on the ground, hinged to the anchor, and raised upright.
