The Rawlings Official T-Balls (TVB) are beginner-level baseballs specifically engineered for youth players in 6U (Ages 6 and under) and 8U leagues. These training balls prioritize safety by utilizing a softer construction than standard baseballs, which helps prevent injuries and builds confidence in new players.Core Performance FeaturesSafety-First Core: Features a soft sponge and rubber center (Soft Core) that provides a cushioned feel, significantly reducing the impact force compared to traditional cork-centered balls.Synthetic Leather Cover: Constructed with a durable synthetic leather shell that can withstand the rigors of repeated practice while being suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.Official Size & Weight: Despite the softer feel, they maintain the official 9-inch size and weight of standard T-ball league requirements to ensure effective skill development.Enhanced Grip: Features raised seams that provide improved grip for small hands learning to throw, catch, and field.
